For almost 100 years, Williams has been recognized as a historic and pioneering K-8 school in Norfolk, Virginia. Williams (www.TheWilliamsSchool.org) competes with some of the best private schools in the Mid-Atlantic states.

Strategy

Students and parents thought that Williams was just a school for Norfolk families. In reality, it is a school for students and families all across America. 

To be recognized as a national school based in Virginia, they asked Ovus & Ater to revise specific elements of their current brand.

We contemporized their logo to illustrate relevance and meaning. We created a tagline to highlight their progressive education and position them in a new school category – “The Lab School of Hampton Roads.”

In addition, Ovus & Ater coached faculty, staff, parents, and alumni to more effectively and universally evangelize the revised Williams brand.
