The Covenant School (www.CovenantDallas.com) is a K-12, classical Christian school in Dallas, Texas. Relatively new to the market compared with more established private, independent, and public school competitors, Covenant was seeking to clearly (but always humbly) communicate its unique identity while remaining true to its mission. More specifically, could it differentiate itself from dozens of competing schools without appearing to be full of pride? Could it also (re)position the Classical category to families unfamiliar with this philosophy in order to become a viable choice to them?
In 12 weeks, Ovus & Ater designed a Brand Strategy that introduced Covenant’s place in the Classical category – Classical Learning in Like-Hearted Community – while describing its ultimate benefit to students and families – Be Transformed. These two ideas equipped Covenant leaders with the shorthand to succinctly and clearly share their School, category, and benefits to potential families familiar and unfamiliar with Covenant and the Classical category.
